Cod fish with lemon sauce and baked potatoes

A simple dish made fun with a special fragrant lemon sauce. The recipe can be mixed and matched with whatever ingredients you have on hand: cod can be replaced with pollock or halibut, and potatoes with rice or vegetable salad.

  • Green onion stalks2 piece
  • Lemon1 piece
  • Olive oil2 tablespoons
  • Butter30 gr

Potatoes — 600 grWash and brush the potatoes, and put them in a pot with salted water. Boil until soft (after the water boils, cook the potatoes for 20-25 minutes).

Green onion stalks — 2 pieceCut the onion into rings.

Lemon — 1 pieceJuice half the lemon and add 3-4 pinches of lemon zest.

Cod fillets or bream fillets — 2 piece, olive oil — 2 tablespoons, butter — 30 grMix the olive oil and butter in a pan, let it warm up, and add the cod fillets.

Sauté the fish on each side for 3 minutes on medium heat, then pour the oil mixture over it and reduce the heat to low. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Plate the fish. Now add the chopped onion and lemon zest to the pan. Also add a little salt and pepper.

In another pan, lightly fry the cooked potatoes in butter on medium heat. The potatoes are ready once slightly browned.
