Honey glazed carrots

An easy side dish that's sure to impress even without any fancy plating. This dish is especially tasty with young, medium-sized carrots. To make it look even more beautiful, you can save the tops when cooking too.

  • Carrots500 gr
  • Butter3 tablespoons
  • Honey1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice1 tablespoon
  • Salt1 pinch

Carrots — 500 gr, salt — 1 pieceFill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the carrots and a pinch of salt, and boil until cooked: 5-7 minutes for small carrots, and 10-15 minutes for large carrots.

As soon as the carrots are ready, drain the water, and put the pot with the carrots back on the burner.

Butter — 3 tablespoons, honey — 1 tablespoon, lemon juice — 1 tablespoonAdd the butter, honey and lemon juice to the carrots. Cook until the carrots are covered in the glaze.
