How to write item descriptions
Check:
– Item names
– Sections
– Ingredients
– Descriptions
Write:
Without any grammatical mistakes
In English
Without quotation marks
Without abbreviations
Example
Olivier salad

Inedible items
Check:
- Consumer properties of the product
- The seller or manufacturer's full brand name
- The seller's address (location)
- Service life
- Place of manufacture
- Shelf life and warranty period

The menus of restaurants that aren't part of the same chain must be different
Items that can repeat:
- Drinks
- Sauces

Yango Deli partner couriers can't deliver:
- Ice cream
- Hot drinks
- Pizzas or pies over 36 cm wide
- Alcohol
- Energy drinks
Exceptions: :
You have special packaging or use your own couriers for delivery

- Raw products that spoil quickly (for example, meat)
- Items sold by weight without a fixed price
- Items with a starting price of ZMW 0

Tem ingredients and weight
Ingredients:
- All items
- Except: side dishes, drinks, and items that consist of just one ingredient (such as boiled corn)
- At least the main ingredients
- A special method of preparation or serving, if applicable (optional)
You can add a creative description of the item after you list the ingredients
Example :
Item name: Raspberry tarte tropézienne
Description: Brioche sponge cake, whipped cream, custard, custard meringue, raspberry puree. When filming «And God Created Woman», Brigitte Bardot introduced the world to a dessert created by Alexandre Micka, a pastry chef from the French Saint-Tropez

Common menu mistakes
Item ingredients aren't listed:
List all the ingredients of all dishes so people understand exactly what will be delivered.
Example :
Item name: Poke with salmon
Description : rice, avocado, salmon Served on a banana leaf
The diameter of pizzas and pies isn't specified:
- They must fit in the courier’s insulated bag completely so they don’t get cold during delivery
- Diameter: no more than 36 cm
- Write it after the ingredients, in parentheses, without a period at the end
Example :
Name: Margherita pizza
Description: cheese, tomatoes, sauce (30 cm)
It's unclear what the item includes:
For combos, sets, and lunches, list all the items they includ
Example :
Item name: Assorted cheesecakes
Description: Lemon cheesecake (1 pc.),
New York cheesecake (1 pc.),
raspberry cheesecake (1 pc.)
Not specified if water is still or sparkling:
If both options are available, add a group of modifiers and specify it in the options
(for example : «still »and « sparkling»)
Example :
Item name: Water
Description: still
Add quantity:
Specify exactly how many are included in one serving
Example :
Title: Cream roll with cucumber
Description: Nori, cream cheese, cucumber (8 pcs.)
Weight must be specified in a separate place:
Don't include it in the item name or description
Example :
Name: Mashed potatoes
Description: Peeled potatoes (200 g)
Don't use abbreviations. Always write words in full
Example :
L/s salmon. H/s sausage. St. water.
